Providing high school students opportunities, tools, and motivation to excel in Computer Science.


ALL students participating in either camp must bring their own laptop. They will need to be able to install Java and Python during class. If they do not have a laptop to bring in, please let us know immediately, so that we can try to accommodate you.

TECH DIVAZ℠ Workshop 2023

TECH DIVAZ℠ Workshop is an all-girls programming and computer science workshop for girls entering grades 6-9. The program is 5 days, held at the University of Pittsburgh June 26th - 30th, 2023! Click here for more information. To register, please fill out the application by clicking here.

Our mission is to introduce middle school girls to computer science and give them the means and motivation to succeed in the field. Tech Divaz is a free week long introduction to the field of computer science for middle school girls. Students will learn about such topics as  hardware, operating systems, big data, web design, critical thinking, and programming with Scratch, Alice, and Java. Students will also learn about the benefits of being a CS student at Pitt and graduating with a CS degree.

TLI High School Academy

This summer, the program will focus on introducing students in grades 8-12 to computer science, specifically software and hardware. This is a 1 week, intensive program that will be held June 26th - June 30th & July 5th - July 12, 2023! Click here for more information. Our mission is to introduce high school students to computer science and give them the means and motivation to succeed in the field. High School Academy is a free two and a half week introduction to the field of computer science. Students will learn about such topics as hardware, operating systems, big data, web design, human/computer interaction, natural language processing, artificial intelligence, programming with Java and Python, and mobile application development. Students will also learn about the benefits of being a CS student at Pitt and graduating with a CS degree.

Transportation

Each student is responsible for transportation to and from the University of Pittsburgh.
